Hello summer.

Summer is almost here! The days are longer and the sun is hotter. Absolutely hanging out to get to the ocean. Bike rides and ice-creams, lazing and surfing.

i finally got my march issue of vogue paris (the lara stone issue). the editorials are so great. lara has this beauty that is almost, sort-of neanderthal, i guess you could say, with her heavy brow ridge and that gap!

Santorini

Oh man, i was just reminiscing on my trip to Santorini. It was so fun - the whole island was alive until the wee hours of the morning. my time was spent lounging by the pool, swimming in the crystal clear ocean and eating the freshest seafood. i need some filthy rich man to sweep me away and to all these places.

Coppola's cake

I've just been watching sophia coppola's "marie antoinette". It's one of my favourite films along with coppola's "the virgin suicides". Both are so beautifully filmed and made and i love that coppola's films are more about the visual side rather than the dialogue.

Isabel Marant

This is late i know, but i cannot pass this collection by. Isabel Marant's latest collection is fast becoming my favourite ready to wear of all time. It has this street-chic cool about it but is still so effortlessly easy to wear. Not only is Isabel Marant's clothing of amazing quality, it is so forward and breezy. New York Fashion Week

Has been quite nice so far - nothing stand out just yet, although I do rather like the new Matthew Williamson collection. I always love his bright colours even though I am usually more inclined to go for paler shades when it comes to colours - too much effort otherwise, matching and mixing and whatnot - but here are just a few of my favourites from this collection.

I love it! It is so catchy and the video is so funny! when the ball hit's their heads it just makes me laugh so much!

This week:

Where to start - okay so Jess, Hannah and I went over to stradbroke island for four days. It was so lovely! The only bad thing were the stalking sandflies! I will have some lovely photographs soon to show.

Tonight Jess, Hannah, Katie H and I went out for dinner to this little Thai place called Lahn Thai.

Ohhhh it is so delicious - creamy snow prawns are possibley the most divine dish i have ever eaten before. So we decided we are going to become food critics and I give Lahn Thai 5/5 King Prawns!

Oh and soon we will heading off to our first Toga party! Ha - for uni we all go to the RE in toga's and have fun (whilst drinking copious amounts of alchohol!)

I have a shoe addiction and it's worsening by the day.

Just yesterday i purchased one pair of shoes and put a layby on another!

but i can say i have the same shoes as miss moss now!

Pippa Small

I am in love with Pippa Small's jewellery - it is so natural and often simple. I first came across her work a few years ago in a british harpers bazaar issue that featured her uncut diamond rings. Her pieces cost a small fortune but I would love to get my hands on some!

I just got a brand spanking new macbook!
It is so fun and shiney and new! Oh i'm so excited!

Couture Spring '09

Karl Largerfield has out done him self again! This couture collection is so whimsical and feminine. Riccardo Tisci has also shone through so far! This collection is a little softer than other's but none-the-less brilliant. Here are some of my favourites.

Big Day Out

Was a little crazy - i couldn't get any pictures because apparently my bag was too "big", but here are some from the triple j album.

Arctic Monkeys were wild! They played about three new songs and did a nick cave cover!

The only bad thing is the amount of sweaty fat men walking around with no shirts on - it freaked me out.

Big day out still has nothing on Splendour but all in all, everyone there had a fantastic time!

Big Day Out 2009 is fast approaching!
It's on sunday and i'm super excited! Arctic Monkeys, The Prodigy, Pendulum, Hot Chip, Lupe Fiasco and Cut Copy are all going to playing sets!

Oktomat!

These are the pictures from Byron Bay and Ocean Shores - I took them on my lomographic Oktomat camera.

The first two are pictures of the beautiful river that runs through Ocean Shores, and a local kid jumping from the tree into the river.

The last is a picture of main beach in Byron Bay
